Israel and Britain signed Memorandum
of Understanding on Science Cooperation

Foreign Secretary William Hague and Israel’s Minister for Science, Technology and Space Yaakov Peri, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on science cooperation between the UK and Israel.   
 
The Government of the State of Israel Approves:  
Ministry of Science, Technology and Space  most new logo.jpg           
  
Henceforth, the Ministry of Science
and Technology shall be known as the Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, per the Cabinet approval today. 
This change aims to promote, establish, and focus on Space domain as the Ministry's leading undertaking.  It seeks to emphasize and highlight Israel's national significance of space within the government's list of priorities.

The Prime Minister’s Office, together with the Ministry of Science and Technology and Keren Hayesod-UIA, will grant an annual award  for
global innovation or a scientific or technological breakthrough in the field of alternative fuels in transportation.
